Re: [SBC2013] Competition Days
Thanks, I'll try that next time with this scenery. I have windows 7 - 64, but it seems that it may not be enough, as you said.

Re: [SBC2013] Competition Days
Aaargh...... !@#$%^, *&^%$ and )*^$@ After struggling for the longest time to start (35 mins after opening), then more struggle to get to tp1, finally I'm cruising all along on the ridge to get to tp2, when suddenly I get a Condor BSOD, out of memory (I have plenty, who knows what happened). Very, v...

Re: Unrecoverable spins?
I never tried to recover the LS8s from a spin. Freebird is right about the specific recovery for that glider. It is WILD and takes many turns to get out of the spin. The non-standard procedure I mentioned before works in many ships but not in the LS8s (it works in the standard LS8). Follow Freebird ...

Re: Unrecoverable spins?
I've seen it many times. The spin rotation is more like one rev every two seconds. If the standard recovery -opposite rudder and stick forward- doesn't work, try this: Apply opposite rudder to the direction of rotation plus back (aft) stick, and apply aileron in the direction of spinning. After a co...

Gliderracing.com down
Gliderracing.com is down due to some issues with the page internet provider.
Does anyone know what sceneries will be used for MNS East and West tonight?

Re: Chile
Turnpoints used in the Chile Grand Prix to be found in this page: http://www.grandprixchile.org/2011/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=5&Itemid=13 I would also recommend adding another airport: Chicureo. It is the alternate landing place for the gliding club, it is located no...

MNS East and West Join times
MNS East runs at 7 PM EST (Eastern time, New York)

Re: [SBC2012] Sky Battle Cup 2012 !
So there will be one time slot only? That's unfortunate for pilots in the American continent. I personally can't join a race during office hours :( , and on Sundays in winter sometimes I go skiing, could participate if a server was up at 9 PM EST ( 2 UTC during winter). Well, maybe I'll join a race ...

Re: Condor and PNA - How to connect? Via USB?
I have been flying condor for years without the help of a PDA or PNA but I want to give it a try. I have seen in this topic a cable to connect an USB port to the USB port in the PNA. The computer that I use for condor has USB ports and a serial port. My question is then, do I need that USB to USB ca...

Re: MNS Europe 2011
So what is finally the formula? 2/3 rounding down? 13*2/3 = 8.67 rounding down equals 8 races out of 13. rounding to the closest, or rounding up is 9 races. It would be nice to know the formula for intermediate scores, say after the 1st or second race. It is of interest to each pilot to know how he ...

Re: P14 does not solves cheating in Condor. Why?
How do they cheat? Do their gliders have better polars? Do they climb better in thermals? Do they jump from one place to the finish line in no time?
