Re: Microsoft Force Feedback 2

I really hope Condor 3 to be more " joystick friendly " I have here a pair of low end ones I'd like to be able to use

Re: In 3-monitor setup, left display only shows top-left 1/4 of its viewport

If you can't take more pixels on the old screen, have you tried to take less on the newer screens? I use the best result I've obtained, varying the four parameters, the resosution of each monitor and the resolution in condor setup. Actually, the loss on the monitor to the left doesn't bother me, it...

Re: Use of Autopilot in Competitions - is there a performance benefit gained? (Again ;-)

Here the results of your igc files Interesting, thank you. As I thought, the difference is not important for a recreative flying, as I do. BTW, I'd solve the difference among Condor and RL in the other way: if someday I'd have money to buy my dream glider, I'll manage to install a condor-like-2-axi...

Re: In 3-monitor setup, left display only shows top-left 1/4 of its viewport

Could be to do with scaling maybe? Might be worth checking those settings. For sure, it's the pixel count in the monitor 3. I use a similar arrangement, and I also loose a part of the view. Less than you certainly. In my case, 1600X900 in the left, 1920X1080 in others, 20% in either dimension. I ca...

Re: Use of Autopilot in Competitions - is there a performance benefit gained? (Again ;-)

I do use autopilot. A lot. I'm a low-rank condor pilot and, in RL a student glider pilot ( who has evaded school in pandemics  ). I1m also private pilot, small aircrafts. When flying thermals - my usual drill - I turn AP on when going to the next lift. And I click it off just before reachin...

Re: Equipment to play?

If you're training for RL, use pedals. Levers - a quadrant - allows fine tuning for trim and spoilers.
A second screen, to the left, will help to train landings

Re: Logitech Throtle Quadrant Question

I also am very satisfied with my quadrant. I designated a lever to air brake, the central to flaps, and the other to trim. You'll loose trim indication on screen doing so, but it allows a fine adjustment, very fine, indeed. I set the keys to game start, autopilot/pause, release, gear and ballast tog...

Re: HELP! I can't start with "S"

Be sure the task has started Be sure you're *inside* the start sector. Be sure you can see both, wing tip and pole lowest point in the same screen ( in my experience, Condor is not that demanding with our aiming skills ) What about your setup? How many screens do you use? I use 3, the internal of th...

FTR is valid and accepted by Condor Club.
The problem is you are not registered to this competition, so you are not allowed to post any FTR.
It happened again.

Is there a way to find what are the tasks listed in the serverlists that will not allow me to upload the ftr?

Re: Unable to upload FTR

Condor doesn't support AAT and radius size in Condor can't be set over 5000m. If Condor Club knows this task (ie the FPL has been posted on CC and tagged as AAT), the 5000m limit is ignored. I suppose that's your case here, FPL has not been posted on CC (and the server logs indicating several FTRs ...

I got the task in VirtualSoaring server list. And I started it direct from the list. It was ARGENTINA CUP AST, and I saw no warnings about a thing

Re: Unable to upload FTR

Im pretty much out of ideas. You do quit the flight before uploading the FTR? If I where you, I would make a habit of going in to the analyse flight menu after your flight, see if it correctly shows your entire flight, then save the FTR under a different name. It may not solve the problem, but at l...

Re: A weird interaction between non-PDA tasks and video configuration

EDB, to better answer, I tested many arrangements. The bottom line is This configuration that shows both wings don't allow me to star the task This other, W/ 2 center views, do. In any case, when I have a screen offset to the right I cannot start the task And the left wing tip (and the TP) must be i...
