Re: Flying without PDA
Without the PDA it is easy to just miss the TP and waste your time with a non qualifying flight. I still haven't discovered what the cause of the non starting is. The photo option doesn't make sense, as I flew the task before without taking pictures and looking at the base of the flag pole etc. I wo...

Re: Flying without PDA
I've flown this task a few days before and I wanted to experiment with different water loads. I didn't take pictures the first couple of times I flew it so why would I have to now? It's a LS8-sc neo glider not those old canvas and wood gliders with no electronic instrumentation. Why would it work ea...

Re: Flying without PDA
If the result of the task is "Warmup" you don't get any messages. Why does this happen and what causes the flight to be warmup? If the flight is designated as Warmup couldn't you make a warning message appear after starting? I was experimenting with different water ballasts to find the optimum load ...

Flying without PDA
Hi Guys, I flew a competition task and it has no PDA. Would it be possible to add messages to inform the pilot that he has started the race, made the TP etc. I flew the whole task only to discover that it doesn't have any details and just says "Warmup". At least a start message will inform me that e...

Re: Centre of gravity adjustment
I thought the trim was on the joystick somewhere as I had read about a spring-loading feature.

Re: Centre of gravity adjustment
Thanks, I was having a hard time thermalling with half water ballast. A friend suggested a CoG of -4 and that made my LS8 Neo glider more stable when thermalling and gave me better control. As you mentioned it does mean that the top speed is decreased however not being able to thermal means the flig...

Centre of gravity adjustment
Hi Pilots
I've never flown in a glider and only have Condor2 experience.
In a real glider is the COG adjustable in flight?
Would it be an advantage to be able to change this setting between thermalling, ridge flight and final glide?
Cheers Jeff

15m glider
Why is the LSneo glider not included in the 15m class?
Is it because it doesn't have flaps?
Cheers

Re: Condor2 available screen format options
re. VR Oculus Rift etc. I've not tried one, but when I first flew with Condor I used to get motion sickness when thermaling. I think I'll have to try one out first. I'm aware of the viewing angle, and have played around with it to find the ideal angle. What I'm referring to is form...

Condor2 available screen format options
Hi Guys After my Condor PC was stolen I have to build one again. I am thinking of buying a wide format screen for a better view around the glider. Please would you list the screen options available in Condor2. I'm thinking that a wide screen without the proper setting in the Condor setup, will leave...
