Re: Any tips you could spare on using Condor for self learning ?

If you fly cross-country in hilly or mountainous areas, you could also analyse your flights to check that you always remained within gliding range of landable areas :

Attach your Condor 2 log files, logfile.txt and errorlog.txt, to your post, you can just drag them in the the message box when editing or typing up a new post.
To do so, preferably use the "code" tags (</> in the toolbar)
Have you contacted support ?

Re: No Clouds Custom Terrain

As far as I can understand your question, I would answer that clouds are not part of the landscapes you can download here or there (except for the ones that the landscape designers forgot to remove from the aerial or satellite photographs) If you want to have thermal clouds, you need to set up the w...

Re: UK Scenery

I tried to use CondorWPFileGen.exe to combine cup and apt files to see turnpoints and airfields on an external pda (LK8000). CondorWPFileGen.exe worked with every scenery I have, but for some reason I can't get it to work with UK scenery. Is your apt file formatted in a different way than in all ot...

Hi Bre901,

I'll test it over the next few days.

If anyone can break it it will be me... 😇🤔🤣

Cheers

If you are still using LK8000, you shouldn't see any change   , as it only impacts the XCSoar profile file

Re: CoTaCo (V3.3): Yet another task converter for XCSoar

Thanks for reporting that. A few days ago, I had noticed that the glider type was not taken into account, but I hadn't investigated. The fix is quite easy, I have checked with an older XCSoar Windows version (6.8 ), it accepts both "\" and "/" in the path :D :D The new executable is on my Google Dri...

Hi Marc, Was it an All class, or open class race? I see you used the EB29R. I'm just guessing here but could it be a combination of: It was an open class race so many EBs - large landscape eating a chunck of memory yes - arriving at a busy airport with many many 3D objects I was at 34km from the ai...

Re: Bug in Landscape or Condor2?

The towplane does not interact with anything, whereas the glider does.
This is a known problem, sometimes the towplane AI is not that clever and selects curious paths.

FYI : Sallanches has been closed a few months ago IRL

Re: Joystick not detected

This is the reason why I would need your help to post your Input->Assign controls settings. I want to confirm my assumptions and then try to fix the Arduino application source code and try again. Thanks in advance. It looks like the names are localised, hopefully someone with your locale will post ...

Is there any plan or ability to increase the 16 character limit for TP's in CUP files? Trying to get over 1000 TP's cut down to size  not all are straightforward thanks to long Welsh and Scottish place names!
