Bumping up https://www.roadtovr.com/steamvr-update ... penxr-1-0/
I use my Oculus Rift with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 via OpenXR. It’s as simple as pressing Ctrl+Tab.
Now SteamVR fully supports OpenXR too. All three major platforms on-board with it. Time for Condor too?

Re: OpenXR Now That Oculus Requires Facebook Account?
MS Flight Simulator 2020 now works with Oculus Rift using OpenXR. For that to work, update to the latest Beta version of the Oculus software. Re: Quest 2 Feedback
I’m using Oculus Rift CVT1 with 5 year old computer i7 and GeForce 970. It’s been good so far, but I’ve been looking into upgrade options. Until Condor supports SteamVR natively the only choice we have for VR upgrade is Oculus headsets. Hence big interest in Quest 2. I see you guys having lots of is...

Re: Airfield Team
I found this old post about using Google SketchUp viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16466
I think it's still relevant and provides a good way to quickly build hangars and buildings.
Am I missing something?

Re: Problem with importing forest maps
OK, I figured why was the error. Need to put `s` files to Working/Terragen/ForestMaps as well, although they are empty/filled with black.

Problem with importing forest maps
Guys, another problem. I created 2048x2048 black and white tiles with forests (tried both BMP RGB as well as BMP indexed with one color). Put them to Working/Terragen/ForestMaps. Then in Landscape Editor I did `Import tile sized forest maps`, and checked that patchs were cut and stored to Working/Fo...

No waypoints shown in flight planner
I copied waypoints file from Condor 1 to Condor 2. It's the same format as used in Slovenia2, and I can see Slovenia2 waypoints in flight planner in Condor 2, but when I select my landscape, I see airports (it was also copied from Condor 1), but no waypoints. Any ideas? P.S. Can't attach CUP file, f...

Re: Water shaders in the dark spots of the landscape
Have you tried -dxt1c parameter for the patches without water? DXT1 is used for the reason it gives smaller files. If there is no water on the patch then it is just waisting the space using DXT3. It is quite noticable difference, if you have thousands of patches. WaterAlpha in the next version will...

Re: bmp 2 dds
For some reason, nvdxt that is available for download at nvidia website (ver. 8.31) produces dds files that cause troubles in Condor. Solution for the moment is to use older version of nvdxt. Version 7.82 works fine. Can anyone point me to a location where I can download nvdxt Version 7.82. I am ge...

Re: bmp 2 dds
What is exactly the command that is used by the Landscaper Editor to convert BMP files into DDS. I tried the one I used for V1 : nvDXT.exe -quality_highest -nmips 5 -all -outdir "outs" -dxt1c -Triangle but I gets a completely dark texture in Condor2 ( aldow dds looks fine on Irfanvew) . Thanks You ...

Re: Water shaders in the dark spots of the landscape
Yes, I have nvdxt of version 8.30. I tried to find other version, but couldn't so here is the way I fixed the issue in a different way. Once texture tiles cut into patches in Landscape Editor, I simply run dds export in command line, replacing default compression with 'dxt3' (WaterAlpha uses dtx3). ...

Water shaders in the dark spots of the landscape
I noticed my landscape I'm converting from Condor V1, has water shaders in place of dark spots (see attachment). I was importing textures from original BMP files that have no alpha channel. I guess, when Landscape Editor was generating dds files, it added alpha channel in place of black pixels? What...
