Re: Kanta-Häme Landscape - EFRY asphalt and grass completed!
Very good looking first steps! I was working on a Finland landscape in 2013-2014 but gave up because of poor availability of good quality photo textures. Where is your data from?
Do you fly in Finland yourself?

Interesting addition. A Super Dimona or Fournier RF5 would also be thrilling.

Re: Condor GP2020 - Rules
Thanks to all organizers and competitors for a very fun competition. In my opinion the Cunimb live tracking has no negative effects (it did not help me win after all!). Quite the opposite, it makes flying the task much more social and exciting. Suits particularly well to a regatta race. Especially f...

Re: Condor GP2020 - Rules
A very fun noPDA task yesterday, thank you! What handicap is applied in condor-club scoring results? The briefing email says ASW19 handicap is 100 and Cirrus is 99. In the final scores, DB1 is ahead VST with speeds 113.17 vs. 113.12 km/h, but the latter divided by 0.99 would be 114.26 km/h and be ah...

Automatic XCSoar setup, condor2nav alternative?
Hi,
I used a rather automated setup with condor2nav and xcsoar running on a second monitor with Condor 1.
Is condor2nav still usable? Is there an alternative? How are you setting up xcsoar for condor?

Re: New gliders
Hopefully the new plane releases will focus on familiar gliders that people can and want to use for high speed racing like we're used to on V1.

Re: No Com ports when NMEA is enabled
Works just fine if you just press cancel in the startup nag dialog.EDB wrote:VSPE is payware for 64bit machines now. If that is a problem, there are other options. Search the forum.

Re: No Com ports when NMEA is enabled
Use VSPE to create virtual serial ports first, then start condor, and you'll see your new ports in the list.
In VSPE you have to connect two ports together, one for condor and one for whatever you use to connect to tophat.

Re: Condor 2.0? honesty please
They're doing just that. But that has nothing to do with Condor.Flightbase wrote: They will treat the RL gliders better, if they invest a lot of work in the winter - doing service on them.
I agree.Doggy wrote:So not having the V1 you actually miss all the fun during this winter.

Re: Condor 2.0? honesty please
Yes, I agree with you. But given that OXO hinted V2 release will be coming in a matter of months, they don't want to spend those two tows for half a winter's races.

Re: Condor 2.0? honesty please
Waiting for 2.0 has introduced one unwanted drawback. In our club, there's a bunch of fresh RL pilots who would be very eager to take part in online competitions during winter. However, none of them want to spend money on V1 with all the V2 rumours going around. So we have to fly by ourselves this w...

Re: LK8000 no airports but waypoints in condor????
So is everyone using Map and Terrain files from Condor2nav? Are they also supplying a waypoints file? I thought Condor2nav created a waypoints Cup file when you select "translate?" The xcsoar maps supplied with condor2nav are done with the map generator and include WELT2000 waypoints inside the XCM...
