Can anyone help me with this. I am getting an extra area of trees added to every forest tile I create. It is the same size and same shape and appears in the same place in the same patch in every forest tile.
The extra area is not present on either the 'b' or the 's' tiles.
Neither is it visible on the 'b' patches in the Working/ForestMaps folder or either in the same folder 'small' files.
It seems to be created when I load the forest tiles in Landscape Editor.
It is clearly visible on the Landscape Editor display (I have included an image from this display).
Also of course it is visible in the sim, when the area of trees appears where they should not be!.
I have tried the Forest process on a different scenery with the same result. I have run out of ideas of how this is being produced or how to fix it. It seems to be Landscape Editor that is causing it.

Re: Error when creating forest maps
Try to delete all .for file and generate it once again in LandscapeEditor
Re: Error when creating forest maps
The only thing I am different to normal is that I am running the 4gb patch on Landscape Editor. I will try on a laptop PC without.
Edit - Still the same without the 4gb patch

Re: Error when creating forest maps
I have found my problem. The blank Black tile I was using to paste my tree data shapes onto must have had a slight colour variation which was being picked up as a tree area. hence it appearing on every tile at the same position.
Oh well, just have to remake all my forest tiles 250 x b tiles and 250 x s tiles.
