:oops: Thanks for the advice, was Helpful!

I think my Problems won't stop.

I'd like to save the *.trn File now, but RawToTrn gives me this error message:

access violation at address 0046E6C9 in module 'RawToTrn.exe'. Read of address 00ABB12A.

Remember when naming the .trn file that you must also include .trn in the name i.e.;

MyScenery.trn

You must also have a scenery folder existing within Condor 2 landscapes of the correct scenery name and with a HeightMaps sub folder.

Raw to Trn will not work if the scenery folder does not exist.
Condor CN = E20

So far so good!

I was able to generate all the Files needed and went after all into the Landscape creator.

When i loaded the created .trn file all i see was a black map witheout any terrain vivible. Its completely different what i expected.

I thought, anyway, just move on and created all those needed textures followig the guide.

I created the Airport needed and started Condor2. My Landscape is not to find!

Whats happened? I went step by step trough the guide`

OK,
made a copy of an existing ini and renamed it to Binz ini.
Then i could see my "creation", but when i try to load it Condor 2 is missing the Binz.cup file and comes up with an adress violation error.
I can close condor 2 only with Task Manager.
Are these files not made by the Toolkit? If not, how could i Know that i have to create them an how to?
It seems that the Guide is made from Experts for Experts. There are so many little Things to know which are not described, its frustrating!
All i want is to do some Flight Training during the winter Around my Home Base.
In the Beginning is seems not be be so difficult, but i always run against walls.

Scenery Building indeed isn't "clicking some buttons and then I can fly". It takes skill and many, many hours.

In CLT2 go to Tools > Check for missing files.

I Know, but if you read the Guide it looks that you can Build a Scenery if you read and follow!
I spent now more than 30 Hours to come to this point. Dont tell me that i want to klick and fly, i know for sure that this
needs more than Klickediklack. Im Eager to learn!

I very Happy to get Quick responses here in the Forum, most are very helpful.

I checked my Scenery with Scenery Check 2, here the results:

Number of selected sceneries: 1
____________________________________________
30.12.2018 19:14:28
Selected Scenery : Binz
Base directory: D:\Condor2
Minimum detail
____________________________________________
Basic check
===========================================
Scenery: "Binz" selected
Installed version : 1.00
* Checking basic files
+ All basic files found
* Searching airport files in Landscapes
Base Airport file : Binz.apt
---------------------------
- Several airports are incomplete
* Looking for anomaly in the directory structure
+ No error found in the directory \Landscapes\Binz
* Checking textures
- File Binz\Textures\empty.dds missing
+ Textures found : 144 / 144 : OK
+ ForestMaps found : 144 / 144 : OK
+ HeightMaps found : 144 / 144 : OK

Looks ok, but does not work!

Try to put Binz.cup into your landscape's main folder. It can be empty. Description of the CUP format is in the Guide too, if you want to add some turn points. Just be careful, once Condor loads the cup file for the first time, it copies it into Documents\Condor\Turnpoints. So next time you want to make some changes, you either need to delete the cup file from there or do the changes there.

This worked, so far that i can start the scenery. But the Terrain is a flat Black. There goes something wrong when i do the

Work in Qgis and RawToTrn i guess, but i have no clue whats the fault. It looks all as described in the Scenery Guide.

Can you check what is the PIXELTYPE value in the .hdr file of your merged terrain data? It should be SIGNEDINT for RawToTrn to work properly.

BTW, I would recommend to crop the terrain in QGis as the QGis screenshot in one of your previous posts shows empty areas near borders.

Hi,

i took the Warped file again and clipped it with the UTM Tool Data, pretty shure to do the same thing as before and now i got a grey scenery as it should be! Is it possible that when i add the -tr 30 30 part, the -TR has to be written in capital letters? That's the only thing i changed.

The Pixeltype in all files, merged, warped and clipped is SIGNEEDINT.

The Screenshot is made from the clipped files, withoud black areas, looks better?

Thanks to all for your help!
