Columbia

Post by dgtfer » Mon May 14, 2018 10:52 am

We have just packed the final version of the "Columbia" scenery, in fact the northern part of the C1 "California", with C2 features. It'll be released on CondorClub very soon, and we have planned a last multiplayer flight test for this evening 17:30 CET. If you want to join us you can download it there:

remember to add the patch only after full install of the scenery.

Maybe consider changing the name.. it could get confused with Colombia when that one is ready?

That will be fun exploring. I use to live in the area.

Having done some test flights, I can tell that it is indeed a beautiful landscape :D :D

Let's just hope you will refrain from putting a " " in the landscape name

Why? it has already been sent on CondorClub, but there are several sceneries with " " in their name, and I don't remember that it was a problem.

Not a big issue, but you have to add " " when working in command line mode or scripting ...
Never understood why Microsoft allowed whitespaces in filenames

What an enormous task this must have been. Gigantic scenery and very interesting places to fly. Looks great too, thanks so much.

I made an xcsoar XCM map that covers the entire area (I hope, I eyeballed it):

Not sure how PDAs or phones will handle one that big, but it works on my PC.
