Andy,

Many thanks and congratulations. South East UK2 is fantastic and on a clear day quite good enough to navigate with a half mill chart and no pda. Only two comments so far, 1) there is a "hill" on the northern runway (340 ?) at Lasham which breaks the glider if you roll backwards on it and 2) as a complete novice on Condor I found that downloading the scenery and installing is far from straight forward. Problems can be summarised as a) how to extract .001, .002 etc files and the importance of applying the patch in the right order. Whilst I was able to figure it out by delving into the Forum, some better instructions on the Condor Scenery page would be a great help.

Hi Terry

I typed a reply then corrected my thought process.

On checking through this thread it is clear that the Patch 1.0 -> 1.1 was produced before the Textures Patch so I presume it should be the version upgrade first and then the Textures.

Thinking about it if Andy had done it the other way round I reckon he'd of included the Textures Patch in the version upgrade download but his note 'Previous files doesn't not include this patch' - has confused me further :-).

Hope I have it correct and that this helps.

If you are looking at the SE UK 2 comp tomorrow night I was sure it was a 2nd training day (was thinking I'd watch the football) but it now looks like it is actually Day 1 (so I'll listen to it in the background).

SE UK 2 install:

1. Unpack SouthEastUK2.7z.001 to your ~Condor 2/Landscapes folder
(next files [002,003 etc] will unpack automatically - it is continuous 7z file splited into few, all of them makes one big pack)

2. To the same place as above unpack 1.1 patch: SEUK2_Patch-1.1.7z [overwrite files if asked]

3. To the same place as above unpack 2nd patch: SouthEastUK2-TexturesPatch.7z
Notice: there is error in path in zip - it will unpack to Texture not Textures - you have to move files manually - overwrite when asked.
No matter where you go... There you are...

Can you fix the stick. It moves left and right but not back and forward hence I cannot raise the nose on lift-off????

I'll try Patch 1.1 and see if it fixes this issue.

The patch with the wrong pathname is:

"SouthEastUK2-TexturesPatch.7z"

I noticed this as well. This needs to be addressed, as most everyone will have a corrupted installation of this scenery unless it is fixed!

Have you downloaded and applied the patch from V1 to V1.1?

Patch is on Condor Club:

Condor CN = E20

Yes I have , Ive tried deleting the whole thing and re-installing from scratch too, and it still does it as soon as I get close to Weston on the Green, stick just goes straight forward.

This is my home field so would really love to at least land there

Any Ideas ?

Today I downloaded the South East UK scenery from Condor Club. Unziped all the files. Created a new scenery in the Condor2 Landscape folder. Installed the texture patch for the missing textures. Installed the Patch from version 1 to version 1.1 (which corrects the elevator fault).

I had no problem aerotowing from Bicester to Weston-on-the Green and landing on the airfield.

You must have scenery patch V1 to V1.1 installed. When you select the scenery within Condor it should show South East UK V1.1. If it does not then the patch is not installed.

Ok Mine doesnt show V1.1, i'm doing something wrong with the patch from V1 to V1.1

I'm just extracting it to The landscape textures folder, is that not right ?
