Scrap my last though it's obviously nothing to do with the airports directory.

Andy I just flew a little test. I flew from Nympsfield and headed back to Lasham. Take off went smoothly and I could soar along happily. This was until I was approaching Rivar Hill and then the stick went full forward, I reded out and this happened to my poor Duo Discus

Seems it is area bound whatever the issue is.

GIven the problem occurs only at certain area, I would bet on incorrect hashes. Maybe some late update on the scenery before release while forgetting to update the hashes.

I have made a patch which fixes the Lasham bump.

It also has updated hash files and height/forrest folders.

Hopefully I will get it on my Google drive shortly.

Will announce when it there.

This hash/elevator issue is a nightmare. Has everyone who downloaded the scenery had the problem?

The upload to cc and on my drive are the same files. I downloaded and tested both OK. Now they indicating as faulty. I have downloaded again and now having the same problems. What is going on?

I d/loaded direct from your google and another user from CC and we both have the issue so assume everyone else will too. It will depend where you fly from and to however so some may not report any issues.

Think the crux of it is it is an anti-cheat thing to prevent someone tweaking the scenery to gain an advantage, or something like that. If the scenery isn't compiled correctly (unsure of the process myself) and the hashes aren't right the elevator thing happens.

Yes it is. I still need to fly the nav test though. I tried to book it up for this Monday coming but the instructor is unavailable. Rasp is showing it to be soarable Monday (at the moment) so I'll go fly some laps of a local task I have instead. Every time I have tried to fly the nav test recently there has been a little too much haze unfortunately.

How wierd is this elevator problem. I thought that if the hash files do not match the hashtable then the scenery was unplayable (total). But this South East UK2 is flyable at Nympsfield but not at Lasham (and probaly others). How strange, not a total unplayable.

I have made a patch which fixes the Lasham Bump and has new hash files.

The patch also has new Forest and Height folders (will not work without them).

As the terrain has changed (Lasham) then the scenery must have a new Version number (V1.1).

Note when playing online/multiplayer all users must have same version.

Unzip and overwrite the two folders (Forest and Height) and all the core files.

Please give me feedback on this. I need to know if this fixes your problems.

If the patch works OK then I will also upload to Condor Club.

The patch is on my Google Drive:

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the patch. D/loaded and checked. Bump at Lasham has gone and I am able to launch / fly in that area so all seems good to me

Strange, I had posted this yesterday, but it doesn't appear. When I open Textures there are a lot of the icons that are blank dark blue, which may (will) account for all the reported errors, and the fact that there is no scenery in the NW, just apparently water to fly off, and clouds in the sky.
Is there any way to rectify this by a selective download, without downloading everything again?

If your scenery is working OK but you just have textures errors in a certain area, then there is no need to install the whole scenery again.
The first main download contains all the core/vital scenery files, now corrected with the patch. All the other download files are just textures only. You can just download a single file and overwrite the exsisting/corrupt textures. This can only be done with the scenery files from my Google drive, as the Condor Club download works only as a single archive.

As it the NW a good bet is the try the last file first - South East UK2 -Tex 6.

Deleting and/or replacing the files in the ' Textures' folders can be done without having to do a full install.
