Upgraded to Windows 10 and can't get NMEA out

Post by Zaphod_2112 » Sun Feb 23, 2020 6:14 am

Hi All,

I just upgraded to Windows 10 and can no longer get NMEA data to my Oudie 2. I have a cable that runs to my Oudie. It worked fine prior to installing Windows 10. I'm not sure how to set up the com port to get it working again. Help!!

Thanks!!

Probably the drivers for the cable are not supported in W10.

Look in device manager to see if drivers are loaded for it

Thanks!

It looks like that is the problem. Is anyone making a cable with a driver that works with Windows 10??

Zaphod,

Check with Paul Remde at Cumulus Soaring. He has a bunch or cables, one may work.

He's on his way back from the SSA Convention so he might not be available for a couple days.

Try to send an email and he'll probably get back to you as soon as he's settled at home again.
