Condor frozen - Full-Window Emulation

Hi,

I am having some frozen Condor and every time is the same issue.
I use XCSoar in a second monitor and Condor in the main monitor configured with FULL-SCREEN EMULATION option.
If Condor enters in work (ex: loading new textures set) and I am not in the Condor main window, adjusting XCSoar, Condor freezes and mouse stops to work.
Something I think is about those 2 lines below:
Landscape refresh stopped at 22:31:08.
Condor seems to be frozen: Updating Controlers: 22:31:19:483.

btw: Why GTX 1080 with 8gb memory is listed as a 3.072,0 mb?

I can send the error logs for a check.
I can not copy them here because of the max msg size.

This is normal. Condor is a 32 bit application and can only use 3072 mb of RAM and VRAM. Nothing to worry about, even with maximum setting it rarely uses more then about 1500 mb of both.

Uros or/and Oxo,

I am loosing some important tasks of Panamerican and Argentinian Competition.
I need some orientation to avoid this.

1. Is the he oficial orientation from Condor Team to not exit the main Condor window during the flight?
2. Will using full screen or windowed video mode, avoid the freeze.
3. Does Condor Team knows about this issue?
4. Is there any patch planned for it?

For now i will use a Tablet for XCSoar to try to avoid it.
But i also use to stream Condor flights and the same issue happens if i need to adjust something in the stream software.

I use full screen emulation and i have no trouble when doing something else on the same PC. It is most probably not a Condor bug as you are the first one to report this.

I feel obligated to respond, but as Wiek says, this isn’t a previously reported issue.

Can you confirm if it’s related to running xcsoar concurrently?

Yes, I always fly with xcsoar.
Other pilots are having same issue.
Always when you need to exit Condor game screen to another window and Condor tries to load or refresh landscape.
If you do not leave Condor, you will be ok.
I did not have this before last update.

I would say earlier that it is the switch to the second screen doc a return to Win 10 that causes a blockage of the computer.

Many of us have already had this problem on the Condor Café server.

But the problem is not every time!!!!!!!

Another frozen screen after adjusts MC for final glide in XCSoar.
In the middle of an official task of Argentinian Competition.
It is annoying me bad.

I will not be able to have enough minimum valid tasks to complete the scores.
It freezes just in the time you click to go back to Condor screen.

Mouse stops to work and just go back when you close the Condor by Windows TASK MANAGER.

The video is almost 2 hours, it checked the end, apparently you were able to land.
I don't think anyone is going to watch 2 hours looking for the freeze

Can you please list what programs you are running in the background. It is hard to test what the problem is if we don't know the specifics. It might be an interaction with on of the programs you are running in the background which seems to be a lot. (I see: XCSoar, streaming service, music and probably something to sent the data to xcsoar?)

Does not matter how much programs i am using, it will freezes anyway.
Only XC, no xc, only Condor...

It happen in the exact time you click the Condor screen to go back to the game.
I never had this freezes before last update.

I use GPS GATE payed virtual COM software to link Condor and XCSoar.

I posted it in the right time, just 10-20 seconds before it freezes.
